How do I rearrange slides in the slide panel?

You can rearrange the order of slides in your Powtoon by dragging thumbnails up or down in the slide panel inside Powtoon Studio. The new order saves automatically — no extra step needed.

Before you start

Open your Powtoon in Powtoon Studio. The slide panel runs along the left side of the editor and displays a thumbnail for each slide in your Powtoon.

How to rearrange slides in the slide panel

To change the order of your slides, drag a slide thumbnail to a new position in the slide panel:

1. Locate the slide thumbnail you want to move in the left-side slide panel.
2. Press and hold the mouse button on that thumbnail.
3. Drag the thumbnail up or down to the position you want it to occupy in the slide list.
4. Release the mouse button to drop the slide into its new position.

The slide order updates immediately and is saved automatically once you release the thumbnail.

If the slide does not move

If dragging does not work, check the following:

• Confirm you are clicking and dragging the thumbnail in the slide panel, not clicking inside the main editing area (the stage).
• If the issue continues, refresh your browser and try again.
