Powtoon Studio gives you three ways to add a blank slide to your Powtoon. Each method inserts the new slide immediately after the slide you select.
Before you start: You must be working in Create mode in Powtoon Studio to add a blank slide. If you are in any other mode, switch to Create mode first.

Adding a blank slide with the slide menu
Use the slide menu to add a blank slide after any existing slide in your Powtoon.
- In the slide panel, select the slide that you want the blank slide to follow.
► In the example below, the blank slide is added after slide 01. - Hover over the selected slide until three dots appear in its bottom-right corner, then click the three dots to open the slide menu.
- Click Blank slide.
A blank slide is added immediately after the slide you selected.
Adding a blank slide with the right-click menu
You can also add a blank slide using the right-click context menu on any slide in the slide panel.
- In the slide panel, right-click the slide that you want the blank slide to follow.
► In the example below, the blank slide is added after slide 01. - Click Add Blank Slide from the context menu.
A blank slide is added immediately after the slide you selected.
Adding a blank slide with the + (plus) icon
The + (plus) icon at the bottom of the slide panel gives you a quick way to add a blank slide after the currently selected slide.
- In the slide panel, select the slide that you want the blank slide to follow.
► In the example below, the blank slide is added after slide 02. - Click the + (plus) icon at the bottom of the slide panel.
A blank slide is added immediately after the slide you selected.
Note: All three methods insert the blank slide directly after the slide you select. To reorder slides after adding one, drag the slide to a new position in the slide panel.
