How to export your Powtoon to the player page

The Powtoon player page is a hosted web page where your Powtoon plays directly in a browser. Once the export is complete, you can share the page URL with anyone you want to watch your Powtoon.

Note: The player page is the only export format in which hyperlinks embedded in your Powtoon remain active. If your Powtoon contains clickable links, this is the recommended export format.

You can export to the player page in two ways: from inside Powtoon Studio, or from the preview player on your Workspace. Both paths lead to the same export settings.

Exporting from Powtoon Studio

To export your Powtoon to the player page from inside Powtoon Studio:

1. Open your Powtoon in Powtoon Studio.
2. Click Export in the top toolbar.
   ► If you have exported this Powtoon before, the button will display Publish instead of Export.
3. Select Create a Video Page from the export options panel.
4. Set the export details:
   1. Select a category for your Powtoon.
   2. Set the visibility to Public (searchable) or Unlisted.

   3. Click Next.
5. Set the quality details:
   1. Choose whether to show or hide Powtoon branding (the logo and outro) in your Powtoon.
   2. Select your preferred video resolution.
   3. Click Export Powtoon to begin the export.

Exporting from the Workspace preview

To export your Powtoon to the player page from the Workspace:

1. Go to your Workspace (My Powtoons page).
2. Click the three vertical dots next to the Powtoon you want to export.
3. Click Preview. The preview player opens.
4. After previewing your Powtoon, click More Options.
5. Click Export.
6. Click Create.
7. Set the export details:
   1. Select a category for your Powtoon.
   2. Set the visibility to Public (searchable) or Unlisted.

   3. Click Next.
8. Set the quality details:
   1. Choose whether to show or hide Powtoon branding (the logo and outro) in your Powtoon.
   2. Select your preferred video resolution.
   3. Click Export Powtoon to begin the export.

What happens after the export

When the export completes, your Powtoon opens on its player page in the browser. The URL in the address bar is your shareable link — copy it and send it to anyone you want to watch your Powtoon.

Note: The export process runs asynchronously. Depending on the length and complexity of your Powtoon, processing may take a few minutes. You do not need to keep the browser tab open while it processes.
