Your account name is the first and last name you provided when you signed up for Powtoon. It appears in the bottom-left corner of your Workspace. You cannot change your account name directly from your account settings — this change must be made by the Customer Support team on your behalf.
Who can request a name change
The account name belongs to the account holder. If your account is part of a shared Workspace or team, the request must come from the correct account owner — not a collaborator or team member.
How to request an account name change
- Contact the Customer Support team. Our Customer Support Team is at your service 24/7.
- Include your current account name in the request so the team can locate your account.
- Provide the new name you want to use.
- Wait for Customer Support to confirm that the change has been made.
Note: Send the request from the email address associated with the account you want to update. If you manage multiple accounts, confirm which account the name change applies to.
How the name change affects your Workspace
Once Customer Support confirms the update, your new account name will appear in the bottom-left corner of your Workspace. If you work in a shared Workspace, collaborators will see the updated name wherever your account is displayed.
No other account settings are changed as part of this process.
