Deleting your Powtoon account is handled by the Customer Support team. You cannot delete your account directly from within the product — you need to submit a request, and Support will process the deletion on your behalf.
Who should submit the request
The account owner should be the one to submit the deletion request. If your account is part of a team or shared Workspace, review the team impact section below before you submit.
Before you submit
Deleting your account is permanent. Before you send the request, check the following:
- If your account owns a shared Workspace, other collaborators may lose access to content tied to your account once it is deleted.
- If you manage team permissions or hold assets that others depend on, transfer ownership or download any content you want to keep.
- If you need to retain access to shared assets or collaboration spaces, review those settings before proceeding.
How to delete your Powtoon account
- Contact the Customer Support team and submit an account deletion request.
► You can reach Support directly by submitting a ticket through the Help Center. - Include your registered email address and confirm that you are the account owner.
- Wait for the Support team to confirm receipt and process your request. The team will handle the deletion and notify you when it is complete.
Note: If your account is connected to a team or Workspace, let Support know when you submit your request so they can advise on any steps needed to protect shared content before deletion.
Team and Workspace impact
Deleting your account affects more than your personal content. If your account is the owner of a shared Workspace or team resources, other collaborators may lose access to items tied to your account.
