How do I update my account information?

Your account settings are managed from the My Account page in Powtoon. From there, you can update your password, review billing details, and manage your communication preferences. Some changes — such as updating your email address or name — are not self-serve and require the Customer Support Team.

Who can access the My Account page

All Powtoon users can access the My Account page. However, the Billing Information and Active plans sections are visible only if you have an active subscription plan.

How to open your account settings

1. In Powtoon, hover over your name in the bottom-left corner.
2. Click Account. The My Account page opens.

What you can update on the My Account page

The My Account page includes the following sections. Each section controls a different part of your account.

Email address
You cannot change your email address directly. To update the email address on your account, contact the Customer Support Team.

Your name
You cannot change your first or last name directly. To update your name, contact the Customer Support Team.

Change password
Click the link in this section and follow the on-screen instructions to set a new password.

Billing Information
If you have a subscription plan, click the link in this section to view your billing details, active subscriptions, and invoices.

Active plans
If you have a subscription plan, this section displays your current plan details.

Communication settings
Click the link in this section to view or update the types of emails and content you have consented to receive. This includes product news, how-to articles, webinar invites, exclusive offers, and best practices. Communication settings also include profiling and personalization preferences.

Notes

1. Email address and name changes are not self-serve. Both require assistance from the Customer Support Team.
2. The Billing Information and Active plans sections appear only for accounts with an active subscription plan.
