A voiceover is an audio narration you add to a Powtoon to explain concepts, tell a story, or support what your audience sees on screen. Powtoon Studio gives you four ways to add one.
Before you start: You must be working in Create mode inside Powtoon Studio to add a voiceover. The Text to Speech option requires a Business plan.
Tip: Add your voiceover before building your scenes. Synchronizing objects on the stage to a finished voiceover is much easier than adjusting the voiceover to match existing animations.

A voiceover is a recording of narration, sound, or music that can be added to your
pow-tune.
Both soundtrack and voiceover can be added to both an individual slide and to an entire
pow-tune.
Inside the pow-tune studio, a voiceover can be added by any of the following methods.
Using a voiceover, uploading a voiceover, using third-party professional services and
using the text to speech.
In this tutorial, we will explore each of these options.
In the right side of the studio, click the upload your media button and select voiceover.
Click record and the recording module would appear, toggle whether the recording is for
the entire pow-tune or for the current slide.
Click start record.
At this stage, you may be prompted with a message from your browser, notifying you that
pow-tune wants to use your microphone.
Click allow to enable your microphone.
You will have a three-second countdown followed by the word go, and you can start recording.
After you have finished recording, click stop record.
Listen to a preview of the recording by clicking the play button.
If you are happy with the recording, click save, and type in a name for the recording,
click save again.
The voiceover will be added to your pow-tune and the sound control panel will be displayed,
or it will be saved on the timeline if you chose add to timeline prior to recording.
The voiceover file will also be added to my voiceovers, your personal voiceover library.
If you have done the recording outside of pow-tune, and you have the recording file,
you may upload it to your pow-tune.
On the right side of the studio, click upload your media and select voiceover.
Click upload, and locate the recording file from your computer.
The recording file type must be any of the following formats, MP3, AAC, or OGG.
Once the recording file is selected from your computer, you will have the option to choose
whether the voiceover is for the entire pow-tune or for the current slide.
The voiceover will then be added to your pow-tune and on your my voiceovers library as well.
Instead of recording your own voice, you may decide that your pow-tune requires a professional
voiceover that is produced by an experienced voice actor in a studio.
On the right side of the studio, click upload your media and select voiceover.
Click the bunny studio icon and a new tab will open showing their website.
You may go ahead and find your preferred voiceover artist.
You should receive the voiceover as a file, which you can upload inside the studio.
And finally, for easier creation of voiceover, use text to speech.
On the right side of the studio, click upload your media and select voiceover.
Select text to speech.
You may add the text on the field and choose from the library of over 200 human-like voices
across different languages and accents.
You can also filter these voices according to age, gender, tone, and purpose.
You may also play each voice by clicking the play button.
Once you have selected the voice, click apply, click generate, and select save voiceover.
