How to rotate an object on the stage
You can rotate any object on the stage by selecting it and dragging its rotation handle. Powtoon Studio displays the current angle of rotation as you drag, so you can position the object precisely.
Before you start
- Open the Powtoon you want to edit in Powtoon Studio.
- Make sure the object you want to rotate is already placed on the stage.
Rotating an object on the stage
To rotate an object on the stage, follow these steps:
- Click the object on the stage to select it. Selection handles appear around the object.
- Move your cursor to any corner of the object. The cursor changes to a curved rotation arrow.
- Click and hold the mouse button on the rotation arrow.
- Drag in the direction you want to rotate the object. The current rotation angle is displayed on the stage as you drag.
- Release the mouse button when the object is at the angle you want.
The object stays at the angle you set. The rotation angle is saved automatically as part of your Powtoon.
Notes
- The rotation angle indicator appears on the stage only while you are actively dragging. It disappears once you release the mouse button.
- To undo a rotation, press Ctrl+Z (Windows) or Cmd+Z (Mac) immediately after releasing the mouse button.
