The Monochromatic Filter lets you recolor a compatible object or character in Powtoon Studio to a single color scheme. The filter applies to the entire object or character at once.
How to tell if an object or character supports the filter: Select the object or character on the stage. If the Color Filter icon (three overlapping circles) appears in the toolbar above or beside the selection, the Monochromatic Filter is available for that item. If the icon does not appear, the filter is not supported for that object or character.
Applying the Monochromatic Filter to an object
- Select the object on the stage that you want to recolor.
- Click the Color Filter icon (three overlapping circles) in the toolbar. The color picker opens.
- Select a color from the color picker. The filter is applied immediately, changing the entire object to that color scheme. For example, selecting green turns the object fully green.
