Powtoon Studio includes a variety of graphs, charts, and flowchart symbols you can add directly to any slide in your Powtoon. This article explains how to find and place those elements using the Shapes panel.
Before you start
To add chart elements, you must be working in Create mode inside Powtoon Studio. If you are in a different mode, switch to Create before following the steps below.
Adding a chart element to a slide
To add a graph, chart, or flowchart symbol to a slide in your Powtoon, follow these steps:
- Open your Powtoon in Powtoon Studio and navigate to the slide where you want to add a chart element.
- In the panel on the right side of the stage, select the Shapes tab.
- Within the Shapes panel, select Graphs and Charts. A library of chart elements and flowchart symbols will appear.
- Select the chart element you want to use. It will be placed on the stage of the current slide.
Once placed, you can reposition, resize, and style the chart element directly on the stage.
What's available under Graphs and Charts
The Graphs and Charts section inside the Shapes panel includes a range of ready-to-use elements. These cover common chart types such as bar charts, pie charts, and line graphs, as well as flowchart symbols you can use to build process diagrams and decision flows. All elements are added as editable objects on the stage.
Note: The steps above apply to Powtoon Studio in Create mode. If the Shapes tab or Graphs and Charts option is not visible, confirm you are in Create mode and not in a preview or present state.
