Why can't I save my Powtoon?

If your Powtoon isn't saving, one of three things is usually responsible: you're signed in to the wrong account, a file upload is still in progress, or your internet connection was interrupted. Work through the steps below to identify and fix the issue.

Likely causes

A save failure in Powtoon Studio is most often caused by one of the following:

• You are signed in to a different account than the one that owns the Powtoon.
• A large image or audio file you uploaded is still processing.
• Your internet connection dropped or became unstable while the save was in progress.

Steps to resolve a save failure

1. Confirm you are signed in to the correct Powtoon account — the one you used when you created or last edited this Powtoon.
   ► If you're unsure which account owns the Powtoon, check the email address shown in your account settings.
2. Open the Powtoon you were working on in Powtoon Studio.
3. Click Save.
4. If you recently uploaded a large image or audio file, wait until the upload finishes before saving again.
   ► An upload indicator will appear while the file is still processing. Wait for it to disappear before retrying.
5. Check that your internet connection is stable. If it was interrupted, restore the connection and then click Save again.

If the Powtoon still won't save

If you've worked through the steps above and the save is still failing, try the following before contacting support:

• Refresh your browser and reopen the Powtoon, then attempt to save again.
• Try a different browser or clear your browser cache, then retry.
