You can change the size of any text in your Powtoon directly from the text toolbar in Powtoon Studio. There are three ways to do this: using the + and − buttons, typing a size directly into the font size field, or selecting a size from the drop-down menu.
Before you start
You must have a text box already added to your slide. If you have not yet added one, click the Text option in the left panel to insert a text box onto the stage.
How to change text size
- Click the text box on the stage to select it. The text toolbar appears at the top of the editor.
- Choose one of the following methods to change the font size:
- ► Use the + and − buttons: Click the − button to decrease the font size one step at a time, or click the + button to increase it one step at a time.
- ► Type a size directly: Click the font size field in the toolbar to select the current value, then type your desired size. The font size updates automatically when you confirm the value.
- ► Use the drop-down menu: Click the font size field to open the drop-down menu, then select a size from the list.
What happens next
The text in the selected text box resizes immediately. If you typed a value directly, the change applies as soon as you press Enter or click elsewhere on the stage. Your Powtoon saves automatically as you work.
Note: Changing the font size affects only the text that is currently selected within the text box, or the entire text box if no specific text is highlighted. To resize only part of your text, highlight that portion before adjusting the size.
