How to change the font of a text element
This article explains how to change the font on a single text element in Powtoon Studio. To change the font across multiple text elements at once, see Batch Editing: Text.
Before you start
You need an active Powtoon with at least one text element on the stage. These steps apply to individual text elements only.
How to change the font on a text element
- Click the text element on the stage to select it.
- Click the Gear icon to open the Settings menu. The Settings menu appears on the right side of the screen, showing the current font name at the top.
- Click the current font name. The font panel opens.
- Browse or search for a new font using one of the following options:
- ► Select the All fonts tab to browse every font available in Powtoon Studio.
- ► Select the Favorite fonts tab to browse fonts you have saved as favorites. See Favorite fonts for more information.
- ► Select the Company fonts tab to browse fonts uploaded to your organization's account.
- ► Select the Search icon to open the search bar and find a font by name, style, or language.
- Click the font you want to apply. The text element updates immediately on the stage.
What happens next
The selected font is applied to the text element straight away. No additional save step is required — your change is saved automatically within your Powtoon.
Note: These steps change the font on one text element only. To apply a font change across multiple text elements at the same time, see Batch Editing: Text.
