How to delete a Powtoon

Deleting a Powtoon removes it permanently from your My Powtoons page and your Powtoon account. This action cannot be undone, so confirm you no longer need the Powtoon before proceeding.

Who can delete a Powtoon

You can delete any Powtoon you own. If you are working in a shared Workspace, only the Powtoon's owner or a team admin can delete it. Team members with view or edit access cannot delete a Powtoon they do not own.

How to delete a Powtoon

1. Go to your My Powtoons page.
   ► If you do not see the Powtoon you want to delete, click View All to browse and search your full library.
2. Hover over the Powtoon you want to delete. Three dots (the options menu) appear on the Powtoon thumbnail.
3. Click the three dots to open the options menu, then select Delete.
4. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete to confirm.
   ► If you changed your mind, click Cancel to return without deleting.

The Powtoon is permanently deleted from your My Powtoons page and your Powtoon account.

What happens when a Powtoon is deleted

When you delete a Powtoon, it is removed from your My Powtoons page and from your account immediately. Deletion is permanent — the Powtoon cannot be recovered after this action is confirmed. If the Powtoon was shared with team members, they will also lose access to it.

Note: Deleting a Powtoon does not affect any exported MP4 files you have already downloaded to your device. Only the editable Powtoon in your account is removed.
