How to zoom in and out of the stage in Powtoon Studio

When editing a Powtoon, you can zoom in or out of the stage to get a closer look at your work or to see the full slide at a glance. The zoom controls sit above the stage in Powtoon Studio.

Zoom in or out of the stage

To adjust the zoom level of the stage in Powtoon Studio:

1. Open your Powtoon in Powtoon Studio.
2. Locate the magnifying tool in the toolbar above the stage.
3. Click + to zoom in and see a closer view of the stage.
4. Click - to zoom out and see more of the stage at once.

The stage view updates immediately each time you click either control. Your Powtoon content is not affected — zooming only changes how the stage appears on your screen while you edit.

Note: Zooming in or out of the stage is a display setting for editing purposes only. It does not add a zoom animation to your published Powtoon. To add a zoom effect that your audience will see, see Camera Effects.
