Can I edit a Powtoon offline?

Editing a Powtoon requires an active internet connection and a signed-in Powtoon account. Offline editing is not supported — if you lose your connection, you will not be able to continue editing until you reconnect.

Before you start

Confirm you have a stable internet connection.
Confirm you can sign in to the Powtoon account that owns the Powtoon you want to edit.

How to edit your Powtoon

Go to powtoon.com and sign in to your Powtoon account.
On your My Powtoons page, locate the Powtoon you want to edit.
Open the Powtoon in Powtoon Studio.
Make your changes while you are connected to the internet.
Your work saves automatically as you edit. If you want to confirm your changes are saved before closing, check that the last action has been applied before leaving the session.

Note: Powtoon does not support offline editing. You cannot download a Powtoon to edit locally — all editing takes place in Powtoon Studio in your browser while you are online.

What happens to your work

Your changes are saved to your Powtoon account in the cloud. If your internet connection drops during a session, stop editing and reconnect before continuing. Any changes made while disconnected may not be saved.
