How to duplicate a Powtoon

Duplicating a Powtoon lets you create an identical copy of any existing Powtoon in your account. This is useful when you want to reuse a design, test changes without affecting the original, or create variations of the same content.

Before you start

You need an existing Powtoon in your account to duplicate. The duplicate is saved automatically to your My Powtoons page.

How to duplicate a Powtoon

1. Go to your My Powtoons page.
2. Locate the Powtoon you want to duplicate.
3. Click the three-dot menu icon on the Powtoon thumbnail.
   ► The three-dot menu appears when you hover over the thumbnail.
4. Click Duplicate.

A duplicate copy of the Powtoon is created and saved automatically to your My Powtoons page.

What happens next

The duplicated Powtoon appears in your My Powtoons page with the same name as the original. You can rename it, edit it, or share it independently from the original. Any changes you make to the duplicate do not affect the original Powtoon.

Note: The duplicate includes all slides, assets, and settings from the original Powtoon at the time of duplication. Content added to the original after duplication will not appear in the copy.
