How to export or publish your Powtoon

When you finish creating or editing a Powtoon, you export it to package it in your chosen format — such as an MP4 file, PDF, or PowerPoint file. You can start the export from two places: Powtoon Studio or your My Powtoons page.

Note: Export and Publish perform the same action. The button reads Export the first time you export a Powtoon, and Publish on every subsequent export of the same Powtoon.

Exporting from Powtoon Studio

1. Open your Powtoon in Powtoon Studio.
2. Click Export in the top toolbar.
   ► If you have exported this Powtoon before, the button reads Publish instead.
3. Select your export format and follow the steps for that format.

Exporting from your My Powtoons page

1. Go to your My Powtoons page and locate the Powtoon you want to export.
   ► If the Powtoon does not appear in the recent list, click View all to browse your full content library.
2. Click the three-dot menu icon on the Powtoon thumbnail, then select Export.
3. Select your export format.
   ► See Export Formats for specific guidelines on each available format.

Note: The Share options on your My Powtoons page become available only after you have exported your Powtoon at least once.
