Understanding Premium Exports

All paid Powtoon subscription plans include premium exports that you can use during your subscription period. This article explains what a premium export includes, how your balance is affected, and what counts — or does not count — as a premium export.

Plan eligibility

Your premium export allowance depends on your plan:

The Pro plan includes a fixed number of premium exports per subscription period.
The Pro+ and Agency plans include unlimited premium exports.

What a premium export includes

A premium export unlocks the following capabilities when you Export your Powtoon:

Download as an MP4 file.
Remove Powtoon branding (watermark and outro).
Full HD quality download.
Privacy controls — set your Powtoon to unlisted and unsearchable.

Before you confirm a premium export

If your plan has a fixed number of premium exports, Powtoon displays a confirmation message during the export flow before the export begins. Review this message carefully — once you confirm, your premium export balance is updated immediately and the action cannot be undone.

After a premium export

Once you have used a premium export on a Powtoon, the following applies:

Your remaining premium export balance is updated in My Account.
You can Publish (re-export) that same Powtoon to any format an unlimited number of times at no additional cost to your balance. See Exporting and publishing your Powtoon for more information.
You can make minor edits to the Powtoon in revision mode and then Publish it again. This does not count as a new premium export and does not affect your remaining balance. See Working in revision mode for more information.

Note: If you need to make substantial changes to a Powtoon, you must duplicate it, edit the new copy, and then export it. Exporting a duplicated Powtoon does count as a new premium export and will reduce your remaining balance.
