The Manage Exports tab on the Classic Workspace gives you a central place to review your export history, re-export a Powtoon to a new format, or re-download a previously exported MP4 file.
What you can do in Manage Exports
Once a Powtoon has been exported at least once, the Manage Exports tab lets you:
- Re-export (Publish) your Powtoon to the same or a different format.
- Download your Powtoon as an MP4 file, if it was previously exported to that format.
- View a full history of past exports, including the date, destination type, and format of each export.
How to open Manage Exports
- Go to your My Powtoons page and locate the Powtoon you want to manage.
- At the end of that Powtoon's row, click the triangle icon to open the options menu.
- Click Manage Exports.
The Manage Exports panel opens and displays your export history in a list.
Understanding the Manage Exports columns
Each row in the Manage Exports panel represents one export event. The columns show the following information:
- Date: The timestamp of when that export was completed.
- Type: An icon showing the destination of the export (for example, MP4 download, online publish).
- Mode: The format used for that export.
- Action: A link you can click to re-export (Publish) your Powtoon to the desired format. If the Powtoon was previously exported as an MP4 file, a Download link also appears here so you can save the file to your computer again.
See Exporting your Powtoon for more information on the available export formats and how to start a new export.
Note: The Manage Exports tab covers re-exporting and download history only. To share a link to your Powtoon on social media or to retrieve its embed code, use the Share tab instead. See Getting your Powtoon's embed code for more information.
