The maximum length of a Powtoon you can create and export depends on your subscription plan. This article lists the duration limits and export resolution for each plan so you know what to expect before you start building.
Maximum Powtoon length by plan
Each subscription plan has a different maximum duration for a single Powtoon. The limits are as follows:
- Agency — up to 30 minutes, exported in Full HD (1080p)
- Pro+ — up to 20 minutes, exported in Full HD (1080p)
- Pro — up to 10 minutes, exported in Full HD (1080p)
- Classroom (Educational) — up to 20 minutes, exported in Full HD (1080p)
- Teacher (Educational) — up to 20 minutes, exported in Full HD (1080p)
- Student (Educational) — up to 10 minutes, exported in HD (720p)
- Free — up to 3 minutes, exported in HD (720p)
In summary: Agency plan users can create the longest Powtoons at 30 minutes in Full HD. Pro+ and Educational Classroom and Teacher plans allow up to 20 minutes in Full HD. Pro and Student plans allow up to 10 minutes, with Pro exporting in Full HD and Student in HD. Free plan Powtoons are limited to 3 minutes in HD.
What these limits mean for your Powtoon
The maximum length applies to the total duration of a single Powtoon at the point of export. If your Powtoon exceeds the limit for your plan, you will not be able to export it until you either shorten the content or upgrade to a plan that supports a longer duration.
Resolution at export — Full HD (1080p) or HD (720p) — is also determined by your plan and cannot be changed independently of your subscription tier.
