How to un-share a Powtoon

When you no longer want a collaborator to access or edit a Powtoon, you can un-share it at any time. Removing a user's access revokes their ability to open or edit that Powtoon immediately.

How to un-share a Powtoon

To remove a collaborator's access to a Powtoon, follow these steps from your My Powtoons page:

1. Go to your My Powtoons page.
2. Locate the Powtoon you want to un-share.
3. Click the three vertical dots (more options menu) on that Powtoon's thumbnail.
4. Click Share, then click Edit. The sharing panel opens, showing all users who currently have access.
5. Find the user you want to remove and click Edit next to their name.
6. Click Remove. The user's access is revoked immediately.

Once you remove a user, they can no longer access or edit that Powtoon.

What happens after you un-share

Un-sharing a Powtoon removes that specific user's editing access. The Powtoon itself is not deleted and remains in your account. Other collaborators who were separately granted access are not affected — you need to remove each user individually if you want to revoke access for multiple people.

Note: Un-sharing only removes the collaborator's access to that Powtoon. It does not remove the user from your team or affect any other Powtoons you may have shared with them.
