Powtoon Capture's Present mode lets you overlay your camera window on any browser tab, so you can appear on screen during a live webinar, online meeting, or any live event — without recording.
Before you start
Check the following before using Present mode:
- You have downloaded and installed the Powtoon Capture extension.
- You have enabled your camera in Google Chrome.
How to start presenting with Powtoon Capture
To use Present mode, follow these steps:
- Click the Powtoon Capture extension icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the Capture panel.
- In the Capture panel, select Present.
- Click Design, then select the camera window shape you want. The camera window is the frame in which your face is displayed.
- Drag the camera window to the position you want on screen, then set the window size — Small, Medium, or Large.
► You can reposition the camera window at any point while you are presenting. - Click Present. The camera window will appear on the browser tab you currently have open.
How to stop presenting
When you are done presenting, click the X button in the camera window. The camera window will close automatically.

Powtoon Capture's Present mode overlays your live camera feed on any browser tab.
