How to remove media from your personal libraries

Powtoon Studio gives you three personal libraries where your uploaded and saved media is stored: My Images, My Videos, and My Scenes. You can remove any item from these libraries at any time.

Your personal libraries

Each library stores a different type of media:

• My Images — contains images you have uploaded from your computer or social media channels, as well as images used in previous Powtoons.
• My Videos — contains videos you have uploaded from your computer or social media channels, as well as videos used in previous Powtoons.
• My Scenes — contains slides you have saved as scenes for reuse.

How to remove media from a personal library

The steps below use My Images as the example, but the same process applies to My Videos and My Scenes.

1. Open the relevant library — My Images, My Videos, or My Scenes — from the media panel in Powtoon Studio.
2. Locate the item you want to remove.
3. Hover over the item's thumbnail. Three dots appear in the bottom-right corner of the thumbnail.
4. Click the three dots, then click the trash icon.
5. A confirmation message appears. Click Yes, Remove to confirm.

The item is removed from your library.

Note: Removing an item from your personal library does not automatically remove it from any Powtoon where it has already been used. The item will no longer be available for future use from that library.
