I'm a Teacher. How Do I Sign Up to Powtoon?

This article covers how to sign up for a free Powtoon teacher account through the Education Solutions page. Once your account is created, you will land in your Workspace with an EDU badge confirming your educator status.

Who this is for: Teachers signing up for a free Powtoon educational account.

Note: If you have already signed up and want to set up a classroom and invite students, see Setting Up Your Classroom instead.

How to sign up as a teacher

1. Go to the Education Solutions page.
2. Click Try It Free.
3. Click Teacher when prompted to select your role.
4. Choose how you want to sign up:
   • ► Enter your email address and click Continue to complete registration.
   • ► Sign up with your Google account.
   • ► Sign up with your Facebook account.
   • ► Sign up with your LinkedIn account.
   • ► Sign up with your Office 365 account.
5. After registration is complete, your teacher account is created. You are taken directly to your Workspace, where your account displays an EDU badge confirming your educator status.
6. Click Tour to get familiar with your Workspace and start creating your first Powtoon.

What you get with a teacher account

Your free teacher account includes an EDU badge on your profile and access to Powtoon's educational features. From your Workspace, you can create Powtoons and, once you are ready, set up a classroom to invite and manage students.

Note: The sign-up options available to you (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Office 365, or email) may vary depending on your institution's settings or the options displayed on the sign-up screen at the time you register.
