How do I use the Powtoon Workspace?

The Powtoon Workspace is your starting point for everything in Powtoon. From here you can create new Powtoons, access your saved work, explore templates, and find integrations and learning resources.

Who can access the Workspace

Any user who can log in to Powtoon can access the Workspace. Some sections and tools are available only on specific plans — for example, the Classroom option appears only on Classroom plans. Content shown in Quick Access and Recommended for You is personalized based on your account setup and product activity.

Navigating the Workspace

1. Log in to your Powtoon account. The Workspace opens automatically.
2. Use the Menu to start a new Powtoon. Choose one of the following options:
   • ► Select Templates to create a Powtoon from a pre-built template.
   • ► Select Import to convert a PowerPoint presentation into a Powtoon.
   • ► Select Create to start from scratch or record using Powtoon Capture.
   • ► Select Classroom if you are on a Classroom plan.
3. Use Quick Access to open content based on your preferences, or to launch Powtoon Capture or the Character Builder directly.
4. Open Toolbox to manage your content and find supporting resources:
   • ► Select My Powtoons to view all your saved Powtoons.
   • ► Select Learning Center to access getting-started resources and product updates.
   • ► Select Apps & Integrations to find supported apps and downloads, including Powtoon Capture, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Powtoon Connect.
5. Browse Recommended for You to explore template collections based on trending topics, new additions, and popular templates.
6. Use Helpful Tools and Links to open the Help Center, company pages, or the Workspace tour.
7. Select your name in the bottom-left corner to open your account page or log out.

How the Workspace affects your team

The Workspace is the central hub for creating and managing Powtoons across your account. Saved Powtoons appear in My Powtoons, so any collaborators with access to the same content can find existing work there. If your account includes team or Classroom features, the options available to you in the Workspace may differ based on your role or plan.
