Uploading Your Powtoon to a Facebook Page

If you manage a Facebook page that promotes a business, organization, or cause, you can upload your Powtoon directly to the page.
 
Important:
When you create a Powtoon for Facebook, make sure to use the square aspect ratio. This ensures that your Powtoon is optimized for maximum impact in a social feed.
You can begin your upload from within the Studio or after previewing your Powtoon.
 
Note:
All references to Facebook were accurate at the time of writing and may have changed since publication of this article.

Uploading from the Studio

  1. In the Powtoon Studio, click Export.
    ► If you exported this Powtoon in the past, Publish appears on the button.


  1. Select Facebook Page.


  1. Click Add Account to connect your Facebook account and give permission to Powtoon to upload videos to your Facebook page.
    ► If you have already done this, select your account.


  1. Click Upload destination and then select To a page you manage.


  1. Select your Facebook page and then click Next.


  1. Define the export details:
    1. Select the Powtoon's category.
    2. Set the Powtoon as Public (searchable) or Unlisted. 
    3. When you are done, click Next.


  1. Define the quality details:
    1. Define whether to hide or show the Powtoon branding (logo and outro) in your video.
    2. Select the video resolution quality.
    3. When you are done, click Upload Powtoon.


  1. After the upload process completes successfully, a message is displayed on the Powtoon player page. Click Facebook to view your Powtoon on your page.


You'll also receive an email with a link to view the Powtoon.


In Facebook, your Powtoon is displayed on your page, as in the example below:


Uploading from the Preview Player

  1. In the Powtoon Studio, click Preview.


  1. After previewing your Powtoon, click Export.
    ► If you exported this Powtoon in the past, Publish appears on the button.


  1. Click Facebook.


  1. Click Add Account to connect your Facebook account and give permission to Powtoon to upload videos to your Facebook page.
    ► If you have already done this, select your account.


  1. Click Upload destination and then select To a page you manage.


  1. Select your Facebook page and then click Next.


  1. Define the export details:
    1. Select the Powtoon's category.
    2. Set the Powtoon as Public (searchable) or Unlisted. 
    3. When you are done, click Next.
